Crockpot cooking is the best. Sometimes sure it takes some prep work. But once that is done.. throw it in and let it slow cook.
Tonight I am doing ham with potatoes and fresh green beans. Cooking some ham hocks in vegetable broth first, before adding the real ingredients.
Tomorrow will be a nice looking beef roast with potatoes and carrots, with a burgundy wine sauce and onion mix.
Nike will enjoy once I am done with my use of ham hocks.. haha.
Seriously whoever invented the crockpot is genius. I am sure I will get even more use out of it once I am back to work. Here lately I have been oven and stovetop cooking a lot of varieties of food.
