#NeverForget

September 11, 2001 our nation was under attack. Some lost all, some gave all. But it is a day that will forever be imprinted in our minds. We all remember where we were at that very moment. A day that we will Never Forget.

Now look at the other piece that goes with this. “United we stand”. What ever happened to this piece? Our country is full of so much hate, racism, violence, much toward the very first responders that were there the day the world stopped. The news media floods us with so much to give people negative thoughts and impressions. Hearing only what is wrong with the departments of the police and all first responders, no one remembering what they do good, just the stories of the ‘few bad men’. How our the riots that destroy our cities any different than what was done to our country? How is all the hate any different than those that bombed the trade centers? Where are we really standing united?

Ask yourself these things when you see everyone claim “united we stand” and “We will never forget” because it is clear that many have. I for one, and the person who will not forget and will always thank any First responder or serviceman or woman for their support.

Remember the good and the lives they save while putting theirs on the line.
