We are almost to 2021, or is it 2020 won? Reflecting on the year there have been alot of life adjustments, the working from home, the social isolation, and so much more. But, for me personally I wouldn’t have changed much more and win at that.
While working from home and the social isolation has sucked, it has given my love and I time together. It has also given me a even greater appreciation for the hard work he does for us and our family. Listening to him work all day gives me a better understanding of what he does and what he deals with daily.
In March just before the major strikes of covid we had a wonderful family trip to Hawaii. We got engaged and he surprised me with the most beautiful ring ever. I would have settled for a ring pop.. well until the kiddo got ahold of it and ate it. We gained a friendship while there as well via our dive trips.
And while it has social distanced us all year we are bringing in the the new year with all our friends as we have the past two years. It’s become our tradition. We had a couple trips to see family and have been extremely fortunate to not lose anyone to this pandemic.
So, all in all I would say it’s been a wonderful year when you reflect on the good instead of the bad. And I couldn’t have done it without the love and support of my caring and loving fiance. He truly is my better half and has kept me sane in many moments.
