The trip

They take you on a fancy trip out of the country, you arrive and the airport and Uber to your hotel. An exquisite hotel. And just after you step on the elevator after you have checked in they explain they not only don’t love you. They are no longer in live with you and haven’t been for a while. Crushed and heartbroken you try telling them they don’t mean it.

They continue to reassure you they do bye planning, they already have someone new and even if they didn’t life without you would be happier. They tell you of this person and all the ways they are better, mentally, professionally, physically, emotionally.

And then you wake up, the feeling of a knife to your chest, actual tears in your eyes and a pounding head. Thankful it was just a bad dream. One of Everyone’s worst nightmares.

Spill your brains...
